Ceracon® Internally Heated Lamination Rollers ModuLam 130  The ModuLam lamination engine is built around 6 100% virgin silicone rollers. The front pair are internally heated to a temperature slightly less than the melting temperature of the laminating film. This pair act as pre-heaters and serve to press all of the air from between the substrate and the laminating film. The second pair of rollers, the fusion rollers, are internally heated to the full fusion temperature of the film's adhesive layer and serve to effect void-free lamination between the film and substrate. The final pair of rollers are designed to keep the laminated substrate in tension as it cools to minimize curling and deformation in the final product. This is especially important when fabricating flex circuits or membrane keyboards. |
