Each supply shaft is mounted into a spring-loaded
retainer. Spring pressure insures that the shaft is reliably and
repeatably seated in the opposing receptacle guaranteeing accurate film
alignment, even if a film roll is removed from the laminator.
This is especially valuable when manufacturing membrane key board overlays and flexible circuits where side to side alignment is often critical. |
