Film Tension Brake HRL and OLS Laminators 
All Think & Tinker laminators are equipped with friction brakes on each hexagonal supply shaft. These brakes employ a stack of leather and Mylar discs in a pressure-clutch configuration to control the counter torque applied to the shaft. This torque generates tension in the film web during lamination. By balancing the tension between the film rolls, you can control the flatness of the final laminate. |
